A Second Reminder

Hey all,

For those who were not in Tuesday's class, I just wanted to let you know what the homework was for this coming Tuesday:

1. Play a video game. Any video game. It could be a web-game, arcade game, console game, whatever. The next assignment will be to design a new character for that game, so bring notes on the game that you played, and if you want to get started on some sketches, that's fine too.

2. Also, I asked everyone to post their final Graphic Novel character designs on the blog so that I can give some comments/feedback on them.

3. Finally, each student is to make a comment on at least one other student's posting, so this means everyone must have their characters posted in order to do so, so if you have not posted your graphic novel character yet, please do so!

In the last class, we worked on taking another student's rough sketch of the bogeyman and drawing it in our own style. If you were not there for this assignment, we can work something out in the next class.

FOR THE NEXT CLASS:

Please bring stuff to draw with. We will be discussing video game character design, and we will be working in class on the next assignment.

- If you want to work digitally (Which I would encourage if you are inclined), please bring a tablet to class.

- I would also encourage you to bring something other than just pencils: ink pens, design markers, watercolor, acrylic inks, whatever you want.

FINALLY, I wanted to tentatively schedule our class trip to the RennFaire for the weekend of October 18th. I will try to work out transportation issues and let you know in the next class if that will be the final plan.
