- Try poses from different angles. You won't see a character in a graphic novel straight-on all the time. In fact, probably less so.
- Remember that these poses should reflect some aspect of the character's personality, likes and dislikes, normal activities, etc. Using props is fine, but the character should be able to stand on its own.
- Okay, he didn't say this, but if you have two characters (which a few of you do) remember the characters as individuals and as a team. So that's like three separate characters to consider...

Homework for 9/22/2009
Hey, kids. For next class, bring in 5 to 10 "action poses" for the graphic novel character you guys developed last week. Remember the edits, additions, and suggestions that Sean asked for/offered during critique. Some things Sean suggested included:
