From the 2 sketches you posted, I like this one because I feel that you were able to capture its heavy set shoulders, thick skin, and the ...squiggles? Tentacles. Whiskers? Tongues! Whatever the case, I like the movement you created and I enjoy his posture and oh so mysterious gaze.
