Graphic Novel Final

I think the final character has a much better expression from what we talked about in class. The bully seems a little more menacing and seems also like he might be not totally mean but a character who might not always be up to no good! : )

For improvements i think you could not be afraid to really make outrageous shapes and have fun with form. I like the stylization of his proportions and his feet, and even the pointing hand, but i feel like you could go even further to give him unique shapes. The color of his pants are a little dark and it makes it a little difficult to tell their color and shape. I think he is a fun character and he has come a ways from the original designs that we had commented on earlier in class and i would like to maybe see more of him, or even usage of him in a short or some form of sequential piece.

Hope-

I agree with Taylor's feedback, he has definitely improved since last we saw him. He feels more like a bully.

I hink he has a lot of potential, but I would like to see you really push dynamic poses more as we go forward. Most of these are fairly straight on shots, including the faces. I would also recommend "flipping" your image to see how things can sometimes get uneven, like the shape of the head in some cases feels unbalanced.

I would like to see more dynamic colors as well. Think about using more saturated colors in your shadows. Take a look at a screenshot from the Simpsons and bring it into Photoshop and run your color picker over the colors, or any disney cartoon for that matter. It may give you some inspiration for how to use for flat graphic characters.

Good expressions!
