Hey guys
Ive been working on my pieces some more and wanted to get some feedback on the *slightly* new colors for the sheep herding image. Sean gave me some ideas of how to deal with the space in teh background and right now im looking for a few solutions for the middle ground between the sheep/lady and the mountians and hills
so far the tactic im going to try is to add detail to the grass closer in and maybe add flowers or something very light to give it detail and interest.
any comments are great. thks :D

also as a little bit of a heads up, the colors are alittle off on the internet for print so sorry if the contrast and saturation are a hint low.

Great colors and atmosphere. I thin you could add a sheep that is closer to the vieer to get more depth, maybe a head peekingin from off to the right or something like that.
Don't overthink it though, this is coming along nicely.
Oh! thats a cool idea . Ill try that out, thanks for responding so quickly :D
I'm glad you uncovered her head, it'll make it that much easier to identify her. You might want to treat the grass in clusters. Even though the grass is the middle (and not back) plane, the eye/brain is still going to try and create "groups" of shapes in reality so it's not overwhelmed. Kind of like how you paint human hair in clumps, then go in and add light on specific threads. If that makes sense.
But great job on the feeling and atmosphere; it's very fresh and "rolling" (if that makes sense), which makes it a great companion to her later killing ginormous snake monster.
