Okay, sorry for the late update!
By next week:
- Finish your film/animation characters, in color, in a 3/4 frontal view. You don't have to do back and side images.
- Complete a storyboard sequence of your character doing something interesting in a short scene, 10 panels minimum. Be aware of how your character looks in different camera views. Also, don't agonize too much over the sketches - in the clips we watched in class, the storyboards were not the best drawings, but they were functional, and they get the point across.
If you are having trouble finalizing your character/'s costume, Sean suggests writing about the character, getting to know more about him/her/it. Even if we never hear the details, knowing your character will inform you as you construct the character/'s costume. I personally like to converse with them, but maybe that makes me crazy. You can post WIPs here, hopefully for some feedback from other people (at least I'll respond).
* If you are working digitally, you can bring your finished product in digital format.
